ChillTech receives Notice of Allowance of its application for a US patent for an Absorption Chiller
ChillTechnologies is pleased to announce that its patent application for its unique and novel absorption chiller design, running off waste heat from the exhaust of a generator or other heat source, has been allowed by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This follows on from the successful granting of its patents in the UK. Granting of patents in the EU and Canada are expected shortly.
Michael Keane, Executive Chairman of ChillTech, commented: “This is another important milestone in our development. It demonstrates yet again how our method of harnessing the energy of waste heat is unique and valuable.
In a world of widening energy poverty, and one afflicted by climate change, our sustainable and economically efficient solutions contribute to lowering costs and Greenhouse Gas Emissions simultaneously, whilst making available, to the widest possible range of users, affordable cooling solutions, whether in building cooling or the storage of food and medicines.”
